BPA to Host Blog Salon on Nonprofit Racial Diversity April 12-16

In light of the recent study on nonprofit racial diversity in the DC area, BPA will be hosting a blog salon during the week of April 12-16. We want YOU to respond to the latest  research and share your thoughts with the wider nonprofit and philanthropic community on our blog at: http://www.bpallianceblog.org. All you have to do is write a response of 100-500 words addressing at least one of the following questions:

  • What are your thoughts on racial diversity in the Greater Washington nonprofit community?
  • How can we increase the presence of Blacks in nonprofits and philanthropy?
  • What advice would you give to Black professionals who are interested in nonprofit careers?
  • How can donors and philanthropy help to increase racial diversity in nonprofit leadership?

Responses must be submitted by Monday, April 12 at 5:00pm by email or as a Word attachment to Rosetta Thurman at rosetta@blackphilanthropicalliance.org. Please include your full name, position, organization name and attach a photo if you have one.
